Mrs Carter: Kesha thinks bringing a relationship on reality tv is a mistake
When the news broke last week that ‘Basketball Wives’ star Royce Reed’s boyfriend Dezmon Briscoe was sending inappropriate text messages to the mother of his child behind Royce’s back fans wanted her to dump him immediately if not sooner and move on to someone who deserves her, but she’s taking her time to really think about the situation since love is really not that cut and dry.
Kesha Nichols and Royce have become fairly tight through the show and tells S2S that they are working on their relationship and that Royce will make it through the situation just fine. She said;
“They’re working on it, talking about it at the moment. She’s going through it, but she’ll be fine. As soon as you see Royce with an awesome scene, people want to ruin that. People want to tear you down. I think they both just need some time and people out of their business, so they can really focus on what’s important.”
While Royce doesn’t have any problem allowing her romances to be featured on ‘Basketball Wives’ Kesha isn’t of the same frame of mind and says that she is dating, but that fans shouldn’t expect to see him on the series. She said;
“I don’t have any interest in having my relationship being in the public eye. As reality personalities, we do have the right to keep some of our lives private. I want to keep that close to my heart and not have anyone else’s opinion on it.”
As we’ve watched many relationships fall to pieces on reality shows, Kesha might have the right idea not bringing her man into the spotlight – however as we’ve seen with Camille Grammer’s decision to keep her boyfriend away from ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ keeping your man away from production could lead to a pink slip.
