We are starting to get to the point on “Dancing with the Stars” where just about anything can happen, but for Monday night’s Motown Week we can at least safely make one fair assumption — Gladys Knight is probably going to be safe due to her emotional connection to the night, even though she may actually be the weakest overall dancer left.
With that in mind, the lost of possible contenders to possibly be heading home is narrowed down another notch, and from our vantage point there are really two people who need to watch themselves thanks to the new “dance duel” twist:
1. Melissa Gilbert – While she has made great improvement (especially considering her recent concussion), what Melissa really has working against her at this point is simply that she is likely to go home unless she enters the bottom two with Gladys. We don’t have her at the bottom of our rankings due to the fan support she has received so far, but she has to watch out — just one slip from her support base could be enough.
2. Jaleel White – If voting patterns hold, however, Jaleel is the person that we would likely peg as the most likely candidate to be leaving the show. The tabloids have put a dent in his voting audience, and the only other contender left with bottom two experience is Roshon Fegan. If these two end up fighting in the duel, we have a feeling the Disney star will dance by him in the blink of an eye.
As for everyone else, the only way someone leaves really is if we end up seeing a freak bottom two. While we are almost 100% confident that William Levy and Donald Driver are pretty much safe already, we always have some concern over Maria Menounos and Katherine Jenkins simply because young women are not always supported every week by the voters. Then again, so long as they don’t end up in a duel against a major threat to win, they will be fine.
Who do you think is in the biggest danger Monday night?
