There needs to be a spin-off. I have watched this series from the beginning and when Sheen left, it took me quite a few episodes to finally get used to Ashton. Now it is just funnier than it has ever been and they are cancelling it. The show is pushing boundaries to the max and setting standards for other comedy shows. I hate to see it end now. I still watch the re-runs and still get a good laugh even when I know what's coming. Now that Charlie found out that he is expendable, he is coming back for the finale. It would have cancelled by now if Charlie would have stayed. Ashton gave it a new fresh breath, even though they made him too much of a wimp in the beginning. Good job making it 12 seasons. Good writers made it happen. BTW, Jon Cryer kept the show running being so self deprecating and the butt of every joke. That's what made the show. Think about it. Nearly every laugh was at Alan's expense or it was Alan being the funny one. Especially with Ashton. Hey Chuck.............spinoff please.......... I know it won't happen, but it could be another "modern family"
