‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion review: Kim Zolciak under attack

Now featuring Marlo.

During the first part of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, we saw NeNe Leakes as really the center of attention — both positively and negatively. This time around, though, the focus was shifted slightly so that Kim Zolciak had to feel more of the heat.

Just in case you’re wondering why, there is really one person to blame — Marlo Hampton. She has been Team NeNe for most of her time as a recurring cast member, and she was quick to stir up some trouble here in making some rather nasty comments about Kim’s personal life. Granted, though, they came after Kim accused her of being an escort — something that Kandi Burruss is also going to allege in the third part of the reunion. Marlo denied there claims just by saying that no one has ever referred to her by that term before — which wasn’t a full-on denial, but we’ll take it as one for now.

Later in the reunion, Kim was forced into the spotlight yet again when it came to whether or not she paid Kandi fully for “Tardy for the Party” — and even though Kandi may claim that she never really received her full paycheck, she also doesn’t want to press on the matter since the song helped out her career.

Two parts into this reunion, we have to say that it is far surpassing anything from the actual season. See what happens when you get all of these ladies in the same room together? What this special really teaches us is that either producers have to find a way to force NeNe and Kim into the same building, or there are some casting changes that need to be made.

How do you think the reunion compares to the rest of the show, and do you think Bravo should look at possibly finding a way to create more Kim / NeNe drama if they both stick around?
