‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ to screen at Comic-Con

Paramount Pictures

If you want to see “Captain America: The First Avenger” a day early, then you now know where exactly you need to be — Comic-Con 2011 in San Diego.

Paramount Pictures has announced that the movie will screen on Thursday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m., which will be a part of a special day full of Captain America-related festivities. Will there be a costume costume? Will Hugo Weaving (Red Skull) sign autographs? Will they give away patriotic snacks? No one is saying as of yet in order to keep the surprise just that.

Another report that has leaked out Monday is that if you choose to stick around until the end of the movie (which you should, considering the Marvel tradition at this point), you will get to see the first “teaser” for “The Avengers” coming next summer. Not only will Cap be a part, but we will also see iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, and some other heroes including Hawkeye, The Wasp, and Black Widow.

If you haven’t seen the trailer already (and why not?), you can do so below!
