On Monday night, we will see some of the remaining nine contestants on “Dancing with the Stars” try and tackle some intense Latin routines. How will they do? We know that both Melissa Gilbert and Maria Menounos are each going to be battling some injuries, but they can also take solace in the fact that neither of them have ever landed in the bottom two. (However, Gavin DeGraw and Roshon Fegan are not nearly so lucky.)
So since we cannot predict what is the unpredictable (at least outside of our rankings), we’re going to instead focus here on some of the performances that are going to be coming up.
Carlos Santana – Yes, Carlos Monday night is going to be use probably used as some of the inevitable filler that “Dancing” tends to create when they don’t have enough content to fill a two-hour show with only nine contestants. At least this is entertaining filler that fits the theme.
Train – The band is perfectly suited for the adult-contemporary viewership of the show, and they have been on in the past (2010, to be specific). This time around, they are going to be performing their new single “Drive By” (which seems rather appropriate for a band named Train).
Selena Gomez – Despite Selena’s statement that she is taking a break from music this year, the teen superstar is going to be reuniting with some of her various Scene bandmates Monday for a performance of new single “Hit the Lights.” She was last on the show just one year ago, when she performed her hit “Who Says.”
Which of these performances are you most excited to see — or are you so excited for the actual routines that you really don’t even care about the musical numbers? Check back Monday night for a full review of the show!
