Holy Cow! Amanda's rape did have something to do with her worthless sister. Why wasn't I surprised? Amanda may be missing the next 2 episodes to "take some time off", but there's been something bothering Amanda since the first episode this season(or so the director has been trying to get us to believe by the sick look on her face). Former Chief Patton will have a lot of time on his hands now(and an axe to grind with Barba) so we might not have seen the last of him.

For all the Kelli Giddish fans, Wednesday night is sure to be Heartbreak City. I would love to see Amanda help convict Chief Patton, but I get a nagging feeling that she won't say what is necessary to do so. What is she hiding in her past that She doesn't want to admit to? Does it have something to do with her totally worthless sister, or her drinking and gambling problems? Will this start another downward spiral for Amanda(that may already have started)? If Chief Patton isn't convicted, how will this cause problems for Amanda in the future? Kelli's contract is up at the end of the season, and she made very little in her first 4 year deal. Would NBC be stupid enough to kill off the best thing about the show if they can't agree on a fair deal? SVU usually doesn't kill off their Detectives, but I don't put anything past NBC. This episode won't end perfectly, and there may never be something resembling a "healing process" for Amanda Rollins. make sure You're there at 9 pm on Wednesday night EST.
