Mrs Carter: Bad news from the world of “The Bachelor” but is it really that surprising?
Throughout the past hour, we’ve received updates on all sorts when it comes to “The Bachelor.” So far, it’s all been good news … at least for now. The bad news came for Nikki Ferrell at the end of the show’s first hour, where we learned some more news about her breakup with Juan Pablo Galavis.
So how did the two parties split? Ultimately, it seems to be a case of the two wanting very different things out of their lives. Neither party seemed to be particularly interested in moving from their home cities, and they also work in very different fields. “Different priorities” was a word that was really bandied about here.
In the end, this segment was not anywhere near as exciting as some would have probably wanted it to be. Chris Harrison did ask some biting questions, but for the most part, there wasn’t anything juicy here. Reading between the lines, it seems as though Juan Pablo was focused on his job and his industry, and that was always a hard thing for her to deal with.
Nikki also said that she had a hard time dealing with some of the fan reaction that came from being on the show, and that she “wasn’t ready for her life” to be put on the air in the way that it was. She was in many ways complimentary of Juan Pablo, at least in that she made it very clear that he was supportive and that there were times when she felt the love from him. It may have just been too late.
