This is a no brainer….Emmy screwed up as usual. The depth required for the role and his performance left all others in the dust. If this were theatrical, he would have an Academy nom.

Matt Bomer’s performance in The Normal Heart is probably one of the best portrayals ever! His win should be a no brainer really. Unfortunately “brains” aren’t always used in these decisions as seen at the Emmys:(

Matt should have won the Emmy, and the collective shockwave in that theater from the audience proved it…The Emmy voters proved that Hollyweird, for all its big talk, is still full of homophobes…Shame on you, Emmy people!!! Hopefully, the GG’s will rectify this heinous mistake!!! MATT BOMER deserves this award!!!

I loved Matt Bomer in White Collar and he was wonderful in The Normal Heart. Go Matt!
