There are a number of events we are looking forward to on Sunday night’s new episode of “The Amazing Race” — though we admit few of them come close to hearing the context behind Rachel Reilly quoting our “Big Brother” favorite Daniele Donato’s “shocker” upon looking at the Double U-Turn board.
Is someone out to destroy Brandon & Rachel. Probably. They’re physical threats, polarizing to work with, and there’s that bias of non-reality stars wanting to kick out people who already have big money from another program. As for who else is at risk here, we would be willing to wager either Rachel & Dave (since they are probably the strongest team when they are not screaming at each other) or Art & JJ (who are the strongest team overall, mostly because Rachel & Dave are always screaming at each other). Considering that these two teams are seen fighting in the preview video below, we have a feeling somebody pulls something a little bit shady.
As for what else is going on Africa, teams are going to have a hands-on experience with bees that would probably make us run for the hills, and Bopper (of our beloved Mark & Bopper) seems to have metaphorically taken an arrow in the knee. Even in spite of all this, we still expect Nary & Jamie to be the team in the most trouble this week. They have a Speed Bump to complete, and unless a grand equalizer crops up (which seems unlikely, considering that they are in the same location) they will have to count on some other team making a big mistake. Then again, anything is possible once Double U-Turns come into play.
As always, check back Sunday night for a full review of the madness that is created by high stress, sleeping in tents, and simply having Rachel and Vanessa around.
