‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion preview: All aboard the drama train!

Expect drama — and tons of it.

After a season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” that didn’t really live up to the expectations of anyone, we at least give some of the famous ladies credit for trying  to make up for it in a lengthy reunion stuffed with screaming, accusations, and some other things that we probably shouldn’t even mention here thanks to them being about Kandi Burruss and her new product line.

We can say one thing for certain here — this reunion is not going to be a great time to be NeNe Leakes. As the most-successful woman in the cast (at least when it comes to name recognition), she ends up being someone who gets attacked faster than Andy Cohen can ask viewers at home to send in their Twitter questions.

First, Sheree Whifield goes after her for some of her comments related back to her gig on “The Celebrity Apprentice” about how much money she made. Did NeNe rake in a fortune thanks to Donald Trump? No, and the money earned during the competition portion of the show was going straight to charity. Rather, what we believe she was talking about in her original quote was how much money she made thanks to the show, whether it be promotional gigs or increased sales of her own brand thanks to having more air time.

As if that’s not enough, Kandi also lays into NeNe for being a hypocrite when it comes to her “toy” line, mostly because NeNe has experience as a “dancer” and should not act as uncomfortable as she does about the subject. NeNe’s defense? That she was being hit up with an argument about who she was in her twenties, not who she is today. It’s a smart statement, but we still really don’t see the point of getting involved in an argument like this that effectively goes nowhere.

Elsewhere, we are going to see Peter Thomas and Kroy Biermann hauled onstage for some arguments, Kim Zolciak is going to be asked to say something nice about NeNe, and we are pretty sure that someone’s head might spontaneously combust thanks to all the shouting.

Do you think there is still a chance at a great reunion, even following a not-so-great season?
