If you are like us, then you are probably still getting voer the shock of seeing Jessica Sanchez almost eliminated from “American Idol” last night. With that, we have a few responses from around the web that show that pretty much everyone who is speaking out feels the exact same way.
Some of the contestants from this season as well as years past gave polite advice; others just applauded the judges on going through with using the save (quotes via Twitter unless otherwise noted):
Kris Allen – “Didn’t get to watch the show but heard
@JSanchezAI11 got saved. Good choice judges.”
Heejun Han – “Jessica Sanchez,Being on bottom three is like drinking energy drinks, it wakes you up but it taste like [poo]”
Adam Brock – “
@JSanchezAI11 you keep your bright & beautiful face up! This little power peanut ain’t gonna let this break her stride! SANG GURL!”
Randy Jackson (as you can see in the via below from The Hollywood Reporter): “We were kind of gutted, we were kind of shocked … people forget to vote for [their] favorites.”
Easily, the most interesting reaction came courtesy of Erika Van Pelt, who seemed to be suggesting something with her message: “I am sure you are all feeling a little weird about the bottom vote getter tonight. Anyone else think that just looked weird?”
Since Jessica was in fact saved, we’re not going to have any conference call highlights this week. However, we will be back once again with some all-new rankings on Saturday afternoon — just be ready to see a major shake-up following the surprising bottom three this week.
Are you as stunned as you were last night over the judges having to save Jessica?
