We’re big-time fans of anything related to “Shark Tank” around these parts, mostly because there’s no show out there that offers up the same mixture of delusion entrepreneurs, creativity, and aggressive people with tons of money.
We’ve seen a lot of crazy ideas on this show before (including people wearing silly costumes or selling products to the tiniest niche markets imaginable), but Friday night’s episode looks to be doing something new even for this show — bringing back someone who was rejected once before. The man is James Martin, who brought a unique idea to the table last year in Copa di Vino, which was a product that offered up single servings of wine in a unique packaging. The sharks were interested to an extent, but disliked his lack of willingness to separate the design of his bottles from his own wine product, which wine connoisseur (and the man with the most ironic nickname ever in “Mr. Wonderful”) Kevin O’Leary thought was a terrible idea.
Has Martin come up with a new idea this time? The video below doesn’t even say whether or not he’s back with the same product, but after being so reluctant last time he better have a pretty appetizing offer for some of these people to jump. We still think that single-serve wine is a brilliant idea in particular at sporting events — but like with everything in this “Tank,” the price has to be right.
