She made practically nothing her first four years on the show, and it’s time for NBC to make up for that. There’s no doubt that Amanda was raped once by Chief Patton. I’m sure it was a lot more often than that. I’m afraid that the extent of the emotional damage will be tremendous once She tries to testify in court that this happened. Even If Chief Patton is convicted(we can only hope) this will probably not heal Amanda. it may only cause things to get worse. We may find out that she taken advantage of by many of other police officers in Atlanta because of her insecurities and her addictions to gambling and alcohol. It may be impossible for her to ever have a lasting relationship because She won’t know if She can really trust the other person. 17 days until the next episode.
