I want Emily to make David aware of the casualties in the quest to avenge his framing, particularly her late fiance Aiden…I also want Emily to ascribe Daniel’s ill-timed death to the proper cause (i.e. Victoria). (Does the production crew really think the show’s viewers buy into the notion that Victoria is a victim of an ‘unfounded’ vendetta??? Victoria might as well have issued the hit on her archenemy, Emily herself — literally leading faux FBI Agent Taylor to Emily’s front doorstep.) Daniel is dead because his mother couldn’t accept that she’s been wrong all along, and Emily has had every right to be out for Grayson blood.
‘Epitaph’ could prove to be Emily’s golden opportunity to tell Vicki where to get off…But the way Aiden went out was macabre, and Emily needs to let David know how she’s committed her entire adult life to her father’s vindication, especially that she’s put her personal life on hold time and time again. (This is where commemoration of Aiden is key, for it is my opinion production hasn’t suitably preserved his memory.)
