Going into Tuesday night’s “Dancing with the Stars” results show, there was one question that was paramount — would Melissa Gilbert eliminate the need for results due to an injury? While she wasn’t present for the show to hear that she was safe, her partner in Maksim Chmerkovskiy did say that they were going to press on in the competition as soon as she got a little bit of rest.
With that in mind, there was another key question worth asking — did Gavin DeGraw somehow manage to pull it together in the voting? Proving once again that going at the end of the show matters more than anything else, he was safe! After hearing that he helped Melissa get to an ambulance Monday night, we were incredibly happy for him.
The unfortunate news for the other stars? With Gavin safe, someone unexpected was going to be heading out the door. Rather than have a bottom three this week (or at least a bottom two and one person “in jeopardy”), there were instead only two singers fighting for their lives — Roshon Fegan and Sherri Shepherd.
The ultimate elimination is one we never saw coming — Sherri and Val Chmerkovskiy. Is going first really that bad of a place to be? We though she had a much larger fanbase than this, and the show needed her enthusiasm and humor in order to be so entertained.
Are you as shocked as we are at the moment?
