Before the existence of Shannon & Kelly was ever revealed (and a few times since), Diane was ‘outed’ as Gibbs’ second ex-wife.
Example – S02E23:- Gibbs & Fornell speaking in MTAC (in front of Tony & Kate) – “….2nd biggest mistake of your life.” “What was the 1st?” “Marrying my SECOND ex-wife!”
Also ‘ginger’ has always been a particular sore point with Gibbs..,
To my reckoning, Gibbs’ wives go like this: SHANNON; GINGER (not Rebecca); DIANE and STEPHANIE.
(FWIW, Jeri Ryan has played some VERY bitchy lawyers in the past………RULE 13 anyone?????
