I believe it is because his father just past and he is at the end letting everyone know how much they mean to him. I do not think he has is leaving, his character has been through a lot and they have been a great support to him and he has s telling them so.

McGee is not going anywhere. I think he just realizes how much the team really means to him. It is hard to find anything about this episode except Pauley Perrette saying it is going to be a history of NCIS and a fans dream episode. She says most everyone comes back but not sure if that includes Cote de Pablo. Actually excited for an NCIS episode for the first time in a year.

I believe that McGee is emotional because his farther died and by the way he dressed it looks like he just came from the funeral.

I truly believe he’s not leaving. He just signed a contract. I can only hope he’s staying.

I’m pretty positive he’s not leaving but judging by how much I get choked up at the end of promo I believe I will be crying anyway.

I’m a big McGee fan. This is one that I need to watch. I sure hope that he is not leaving. I don’t think so but the way things are going, one can never tell.
