I loved Gracepoint. I thought it was wonderfully done and I probably enjoyed it more because I never watched Broadchurch. I was aware of it being a remake but chose not to watch or read anything about the original first. I just simply wanted to watch it. People shouldn’t get so pissy because it’s so alike. Hell, they’d be pissy if it were different so it really shouldn’t make a difference what they think.

Initially I read a reviewed that panned the show but I thought I would watch it anyway and wa glad I did as I really enjoyed it. The ending did lend itself to more episodes but I’m not sure that would have made a second season. Maybe like true detective it can resurrect itself later as similar but different series. Good writing wouldn’t go astray on tv these days

I would not be interested in a second season. The whole series was exhausting, and now that we know who the killer is, what’s the point of continuing it.
