i agree with most of the comments. to be honest i never really liked Sam because Dean always had to protect him and all Dean got for it was complaining and resentment. i was actually really happy to see Dean as a demon because he was able to be free from his brother and the relationship with Crowley was very entertaining. it’s also very sad that Dean is the only one that has to sacrifice himself for every one ad never ends up happy. that said i really also want to see him brake because Jensen is such a good actor and he can really pull off the devastatingly sad scenes that most people really hope to see.

Dean killed those idiots after they tried to kill him and after he warned them, a couple of times, that they should stop. It was what? 5 or 6 to one? Dean didn’t shoot them down in cold blood with his gun, they attacked him. These were rapists and murderers themselves, and Dean fought them with a knife. He can’t help if he’s good.
But anyway, it’s been theorized if maybe the MoC isn’t protecting Dean, which would make things very interesting.
I don’t want to move on from the MoC mainly because then we’ll be stuck with version 679 of something wrong with Sam and Dean angsts. DemonDean and the MoC have been the best and most interesting plots this show has seen since purgatory, which was also ended for no reason except to give us more something wrong with Sam and limp Sam.
I’d love a season of Dean for once. Complete and total Dean because Jensen deserves a season where his character isn’t reduced to being his brother’s nanny.

I agree with you rubyangle and the mark of Cain was meant for Dean if you go back to season 5 I think when the angles went back in time to kill the boys parents and John let Michael in so he could save his wife remember when Dean said I taught I was your only vessel and Michael told him that the men in his father family bloodlines are chosen vessels it goes all the way back to Cain and his brother so that’s a clue. Dean just have to learn to coexist with the mark like Cain did don’t let it control him he needed to learn how to deal with it cause it’s really meant for him not Sam because he’s more of his mom than his dad.

Speak for yourself, please. I’m getting really tired of people pretending they speak for all SPN fans out here. No, in my opinion the MoC has not been fully explored, but it never will be. SPN will use it as a hook to get people to watch. Nothing more. S10 was sold as the Year of The Deanmon. As far as I’m concerned, it’s been anything but that. One misleading promo after another.

Dean Winchester did not break into a private home and slaughter an entire family. He was trapped in a house with 5 criminals who were going to kill him. He warned them: “You don’t want to do this” and they came after him anyway. They were going to kill him. 5 against 1? They got what they deserved. It’s called self defense. Funny you didn’t mention that.

Now if Charlie gets smacked around a little, well, she’s a big girl, she can take care of herself.
