My money is on Tom as the killer with Joe moving the body. I had considered Mark, as well… but I couldn’t come up for a rationale for him calling the cops to the hut, so I ruled him out. I think the boys (or at least Danny) were out poaching deer with Vince, he dropped them at the hut, Tom confronted Danny, they got into a fight, and Tom killed Danny and called Dad for help.

I do love the show but feel that it really does suffer in comparison to the UK version. I adore David Tennant (whose character is meant to be gruff and strung out) as Carver and Virginia Krull as Beth Solano but haven’t bought into the other characters as much (particularly Ellie Miller, Mark Solano, Jack Reinhold, Paul Coates — and I have loved Kevin Rankin in other things). Sorry to say it. They are all a bit too overdrawn for me. As for whodunnit, could they have been lying to us all along? The more obvious (Vince, Paul), the least likely — I hope. Honestly, the Broadchurch ending was fabulous. I actually wouldn’t mind if it was the same for Gracepoint. Looking forward to finding out either way.

The foreshadowing is certainly pointing to Ellie’s husband, but I hope not. Her son Tom is a weird kid. Anyone think it could be Mark? He’s so hot and cold with Beth.

The wrong question is being asked. We should be asking who killed the girls. That’s why Carver is in Gracepoint.

i totally love this show. I have enjoyed every second of it and hate to see it over. I am so torn on who I think did this. I still feel like it could be the preist.

In reply to Hebe. I actually think the acting is really good. I'd love to hear what you think good acting is so I can compare. Its a somber story, so the acting is going to be somber most of the time. I too think David Tennants accent was pretty bad, but I don't think it ever said where he grew up or anything like that. I have heard some weird accents in my time. Overall, this show has really drawn me in and I think it is sad that so many people have criticized it. There have been some really bad performances though, I will agree with that, but it is Fox. This isn't HBO. And I don't think her husband is the killer, I think its pretty obvious that her son killed him, maybe by accident, and Vince is was trying to help him cover it up.

Oh dear – looks like we are getting the same ending as Broadchurch – so Fox was lying all along. What a complete waste of time this has been. Far too drawn out, poorly acted with a lead who looks half asleep most of the time when he is not pulling faces and who has one of the very worst American accents ever on television, a lead actress who looks bored most of the time and dialogue you’d find in an airport novel. Even with a murder investigation, this has been dull, dull, dull. To insult everyone with the same ending is even worse. Shame on everyone associated with this production.
