Taylor Swift performs Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ during Toronto concert (video)

Late last week, Taylor Swift visited Toronto for a show as a part of her new tour — and it led to her having the opportunity to cover a song from a certain 17-year old Canadian superstar. Justin Bieber was raised in the town of Stratford just a few hours west in Ontario, and it seemed like the perfect time for her to tribute him with a rendition of “Baby.”

In the video below, Swift quickly gets just about every member of the audience involved in the sing-along to the popular hit. Taylor and Justin have quite a history together — Justin actually broke his foot while at a concert with the singer in London in 2009, and it later became a bit of a running joke between the two.

After the concert, Justin thanked Taylor for showing the love on Twitter:

“heard you sang BABY at your concert in TO. thank u for the love….might have to come by and stop in on a show”

While Taylor tours, Justin has been getting in some rest and relaxation before recording his next album later this year.

What do you think of this cover?
