If the guys wanted to make a big move on “Survivor: One World” Wednesday night, they may very well be barking up the wrong tree. Why? They are going after someone in Kat to join their alliance who really has no benefit to do so whatsoever.
While the promo video for Wednesday night’s new episode may be misleading (as they often are), the impression we get from it is that we are going to be seeing the men continue to try and do their best to scramble through the game now that they don’t have anywhere close to the numbers to do anything about it. To make matters even more ridiculous, Troyzan and Jay still seem to be somehow convinced that Kim and Chelsea may still want to take them far into the game, despite the fact that almost all of their former alliance partners are falling by the wayside. (Does anyone regret voting out Bill now? That’s what we thought.)
The truth of the matter here is that the next target for elimination is probably going to be Leif, if for no other reason than that it keeps the fake “new Salani alliance” around for a while longer, while at the same time getting rid of the men. We mentioned earlier that Kat does get involved this week, and it may be as Jay starts to really wisen up as what is going on in the game. However, he’s probably only doing so to keep his options open, since he seems to be foolishly following the “anyone but me” strategy rather than trying to set up a big move that will get him to the end.
What should the remaining men do? Instead of going after Kat, they should be seeking out Christina and Alicia, the two people who are obviously on the outside of the ladies’ alliance. Jay, Troyzan, and Leif could convince the two ladies pretty easily that Tarzan would go before them, and they would be moving up from sixth and fifth place to fifth and fourth, with the potential to get even higher if they can get the guys to turn on each other in some way.
What do you think is going to be the best move for the guys this week, and do you think Jay talking to Kat is really just a red herring for a move that will probably not be made?
