That being said, the season has had some weak spots:

Jake as the scapegoat and Rowan ending up being discovered for Harrison and Jerry’s deaths were anticlimactic. I definitely feel like the show was like old school Scandal up until these last few episodes which were somewhat floating in S3 absurdity territory.

The B613 stuff really sucks the fun out of this show. Rowan or Jake should’ve died.

Season 4A has been good and steady for the most part. It kind of reminds me of Season 2A, when the show was building towards something greater to expose which was Defiance at the time. This time it seems to be Andrew trying to takeover Fitz’ presidency via Liv’s kidnapping, that will play out in the second half.

First I love #TGIT. Second, I have been truly enjoying S4. Great ensemble cast, great acting, and wonderful surprises. I loved the winter finale – my top 3 moments were Jake and Olivia dancing; Cyrus and Olivia in bitch baby scene; and Rowan and Olivia in Songs in the key of Life scene. Third, I have to give an honorable mention to Charlie and Quinn’s Granny Fran scene. You do realize will they or won’t they only works if both people are single. I prefer Olivia and Jake = love their scenes.
