I loved seeing Rachel get her dream role of Fanny on Broadway and don’t understand why she would give it up! I have no interest in seeing her come back to McKinley as a failure! I don’t want to see the newbies either and I am sick of Sue’s nastiness! The final season should have had minimal Sue, a check in with all the original kids and maybe the original kids competing in some kind of battle of the former champions show choir competition. Perhaps Schue and Sue could have had a bet that if the original kids win then New Directions can be restarted. If they wanted to use the newbies as part of the group then fine as long as the emphasis wasn’t on them. Everything I’ve heard about this season is just bad and doesn’t seem to make sense or respect the history of the show!
