I read that they originally planned a one-hour show, but the network after seeing a draft script greenlit an extra hour so they could tell it like we saw it. Or so goes the story/spin. Still, I watched OUAT and the movie Safe House today and I’ve got to say OUAT was far more of an enjoyable ride.
