There is nothing new in what they do, no excitement in how they do it, and absolutely nothing that takes these characters outside their trite, worn Beautiful People boxes. The relationship between Callen and Hetty was short-lived for less than a season, and there is not nearly enough chemistry between the actors to have any kind of realistic romance. And now we are expected to believe that a technical analyst is going to be a field agent? Seriously, writers. Get a grip!

Since expanding the NCIS roster of programs to three cities, perhaps the executive producers are losing out to the Boredom Lords. I would give the series as a whole a D grade.
