Absolute worst SNL I think I’ve ever seen, and been avid viewer since late 70’s. What is the recurrent problem these cast mates (particularly Michael Che) have in reading cue cards? I used to think Chris Rock was underutilized when he was a cast member — now I’m thinking that was a smart move. Other than his monologue, he was totally unfunny. He should stick to standup. Vanessa totally underutilized. And why not bring back successful skits from past years, such as “What Up With That?”; “Miley Cyrus Show”; Drunken Uncle; even the two former porn stars (Cicily and Vanessa)? So much of last night was unwatchable, and for me at least the whole show was the low point of a very off season. They need more female writers like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Just terrible.

The terrorism theme was not funny. It was disrespectful and lame. The colonoscopy skit was unwatchable. Megan Kelly skit was horrible, she could not do an impression other than a really bad wig and Megan has great hair. Prince was great, I now dislike Chris Rock after this performance, he came off like an arrogant, disrespectful to country kind of a hole!

In my opinion, the show has been hijacked by the newbie actors and writers. It is coming off as unprepared and sophomoric. It seems that the repertory players are being shut out this season.

This was the absolute worst SNL episode I’ve ever seen nothing was even remotely funny and I may quot watching after this is was terrible it was boring and I just don’t know what else to say accept so disappointed

I really did not mind Rock’s opening. I laughed.
I love Beck Bennett. He does no wrong. Looking forward to Woody Harrelson next. Different type of humour for sure.

What a total train wreck. When you try to be over the top and too edgy it shows. I wonder how much control they gave to Rock just to get him back on the show – it seems that every skit had too much Rock influence.

SNL has gone downhill. Billy Crystal or Steve Martin should host. It also seems like SNL needs better skits.
