‘Survivor’ alum Russell Hantz’s ‘Flipped Off’ pushed to April 28

Russell’s new show has moved.

If you are still excited about seeing Russell Hantz’s first post-“Survivor” reality show, you’re going to be waiting a little while longer.

After it was first scheduled to premiere on April 9, the series “Flipped Off” — which follows Russell, his brother, and a real-estate agent named Kristen as they look to try and dive into the risky business of house-flipping in Houston — is now going to launch on Saturday, April 28 at 9:00 p.m. With this new timeslot in mind, Russell is going to have to rely on his devoted fanbase a little bit more than ever; Saturdays are not an easy night for programming, in particular at night when so many people are with friends are enjoying the great outdoors.

We’ve ultimately formed a bit of a love / hate relationship watching Russell on TV. During “Survivor: Samoa,” he was a revelation along with being one of the best players to ever be denied $1 million by a bitter jury. However, over the next two seasons he descended more into bitterness over what happened to him; we did actually find him to be surprisingly sincere after his exit from “Redemption Island” about his love for this game, but then all of the drama with his nephew Brandon on “South Pacific” left us a strange taste in our mouth.

Nonetheless, we’re still interested to find out a little bit more about Russell’s show — are you?
