If you love the joy (and the occasional trainwreck) that is Fox summer TV, we have some good news for you — there’s a little bit of both heading your way! The network has announced the early portion of their summer schedule, and there’s some solid programming coming up if you love either dancing or anything starring Gordom Ramsay.
Here is the schedule that has been released so far (all times are p.m. as well as EST).
Thursday, May 24
8:00 – “So You Think You Can Dance” (special time)
Tuesday, May 29
8:00 – “Hell’s Kitchen”
9:00 – “MasterChef”
Wednesday, May 30
8:00 – “So You Think You Can Dance” (regular time premiere)
Monday, June 4
8:00 – “Hotel Hell”
9:00 – “Hell’s Kitchen”
While we are planning to check out every one of these shows, we are first of all disappointed that “SYTYCD” has been reduced to just one night a week. In addition, we also really don’t understand the logic of airing “Hell’s Kitchen” at 9:00 one night and 8:00 the next. Why confuse people? Haven’t you learned already from what you did with “House,” “Terra Nova,” and “Alcatraz” this season? Fox’s schedule seems a bit like throwing darts at times.
Which of these shows are you planning to catch this summer?
