That would be cool. It just might be what makes NCIS NOLA different from the other NCIS shows; a joint effort between NCIS and the Coast Guard. Eventually, there could be a spin off. (As long as they don't bump out the NOLA crew :) )

You're right. Everyone can always use that little extra. I have loved the crossovers between the NCIS episodes so far. I'm glad that they are doing it because it is such a natural thing for the different offices to talk to each other. In another series Chicago Fire; their spin off Chicago PD they do crossovers for each show all the time. Usually the scenes are very short but the fire and police departments both work to help each other out so the crossovers help with the show and character connections. If they went ahead with a coast guard spin off for NCIS that would be really cool.

I absolutely love Diane Neal and will look forward to her in NCIS NO. I had originally hoped that she would be Cote's replacement on the original NCIS. Borin has good chemistry with Gibbs and Dinozzo so it will be interesting to see if the chemistry is there with the NO gang.

Looking forward to it. With the tremendous turmoil that is happening in our world, knowing that those who serve to protect us are cooperating and working as a team, brings an element of comfort. I am sure that the TV show reflects the real NCIS.
Plus, from the actors' viewpoint, those who have smaller roles or recurring roles have a chance to have extra work. These days, no matter what you do for a living, a little extra money can come in handy.
