I too, would love to see Michael and Cote together again on NCIS (I want Tony and Ziva to have their happy ending) but unless Cote agrees at some point to return that ain’t gonna happen. I feel as fans we’re being kept in limbo in case Cote returns which isn’t right. I too, don’t like Tony as a dating machine. It doesn’t fly after what he went through with Ziva. What would be more “organic” would be Tony coming clean with Abby or another friend about how he misses Ziva. I know we had that conversation in the last episode but it needs a fuller dialogue and if there is to be another romance it will be built up slowly. He meets someone not necessarily on a case but even by chance (maybe someone new moves into his apartment building) and they develop a friendship first. This new person could be someone getting over a relationship herself therefore she is a little guarded about meeting someone new. There could be some discussion between them about their past relationships and what they learned from them. This would reveal how Tony has matured. This in combination with some juicier action stuff where he takes the lead (Gibbs could be in New Orleans) would give us the Tony we’d like to see.

In reply to Anna690710. #NCIS fans did not devote 8 years to watching Tony and Ziva develop their relationship just to end up seeing some Janie Come Lately show up and becone Tonys sudden love interest, when he c a rwfully shielded his heart all those years. No continuity, doesn't make sense and insults the heart of long time fans. Does the writing staff not know how to give Tony anything to do but a love of the week or weeks interest or an ongoing joke, like bath beads and colon cleanses? He is a highly competent SENIOR field agent. How about more Tony professional growth stories? More leading the team or a task force stories?

If I was Cote de Pablo I would never return to this show!
The fact that Bishop is still there shows that the producers don’t know anything about acting because E. Wickersham is not an actress! Even an acting school would send her away!
And the line of cheap actresses as DiNozzo love interests must be very long!

This new chick from Philadelphia is as useless as Pendergast on the show!
Glasberg is a genius like Bishop: completely incompetent!
Fans don’t want playboy Tony or season 1 or 2 Tony and they don’t want Tony with some unemployed CBS actress in a Glasberg character creation!
Tony should be in a relationship with Ziva (on or offscreen): all other ideas are utter nonsense!
Sorry Mr. Organic, 8 years of TIVA is an eternity on TV and your attempts to erase TIVA are simply ridiculous!
