Mrs Carter: Could Milo be headed towards an acting career just like mommy?
While many mothers take an entire year to stay at home with their baby after giving birth, Alyssa Milano is not one of those mothers. Instead she has gone back to work only 7 months after baby Milo’s birth, giving her son a chance to learn a little independence.
Milano was on the set of her new ABC series ‘Mistresses’ in Hollywood on Monday and cuddled up in her arms was her pride and joy, Milo, who came for a visit. Alyssa recently posted a message on her Twitter account, sharing the difficulties of trying to balance home life with being a working mom. She wrote;
“Letting Milo take a nap in my arms before I have to go to work on ‘Mistresses’. This working mom thing is no joke. You all made it look easy.”
It is said that young children respond well to being on a schedule, but when you’re in Hollywood there is no such thing as routine. Milano and her CAA agent David Bugliari have hectic schedules, however they make sure that Milo comes first and squeeze in any extra time they can with their sweet-faced baby boy. Milano tweeted;
“Our schedule is never the same so I’m not sure a routine can be found. Milo came to visit today though and it made me so happy.”
It’s never easy to leave baby at home and go back to work, but as Alyssa has shown, there is a way to include baby in work once in a while and still bring home the bacon.
