July is shaping up to be quite a month at the box office. We have “Harry Potter” casting a spell (and smashing records) this weekend, and on Friday we have the much-anticipated arrival of “Captain America: The First Avenger.” With these two movies, it’s almost hard to remember that there is even another film on the way in “Cowboys and Aliens.”
In what may be the closest thing we’ve had to “Firefly” since … well, “Firefly,” the film features a stellar cast that includes Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, and Daniel Craig — to make things even better, we have “Iron Man” director Jon Favreau and a buffet of special effects. If you love popcorn movies, this may very well be up your alley.
Just days before the movie is set to promote at San Diego Comic-Con, we have a new behind-the-scenes featurette taking a look at how certain scenes for the film were created (via E! News).
If there is one flaw to this film, it’s simply that the excitement level has been so high for so long, the hype may end up being a bit too stretched out.
Are you excited to check out this genre-bending showdown?
