I see it as a cross between NCIS and the old western “Gunsmoke”. This series has everything….and includes minorities, strong women characters, and fine older actors. The stories run the gauntlet of emotions (love, hatred, betrayal, affection, family issues and myriad other universal human feelings). And there is always a moral issue facing the hero/heroines in the stories.
