It’s not what attracted me in the first place and has kept me a loyal fan for 10 seasons. If the writers insist on it, let’s do some “homework” beforehand and choose an actress who plays well off of Thomas Gibson (Is Jenna Elfman available?). I know Haley could be a nudge, but Meredith Monroe had incredible chemistry with TG. Hotch never looked at Beth the way he looked at Haley. I would love to have seen Hotch and Haley work through their problems and find the way back to each other. If we are granting wishes today, I would like to put a hold on the love interest crappola and see Hotch interact more with Jack. Cade Owens (Jack) is obviously growing up which opens the door to all kinds of issues for Hotch.
