‘The Voice’: Adam Levine considers a swear jar, money would go to charity

Adam would raise a lot of money!

If you’ve ever been to Adam Levine’s Twitter account, you know that ‘The Voice’ mentor has a difficult time reigning in the profanity and now that he is part of one of the biggest singing competitions on the planet, the Maroon 5 front man feels that it’s time to clean up his language a little bit.

During a recent interview with People Magazine, Levine revealed that he knows he curses a lot and is hoping to get it under control.  He said; “I have a dirty mouth. I curse a lot and I want to try to contain that a little bit.”

Many celebrities have brought in the swear jar method to try and stop their profanity, like Kristen Stewart, but Adam is not only considering using a swear jar, he says that the money would go to charity.  He said; “I’ll have a little curse jar next to me. Every time we say a bad word, $100 goes to charity. It will help us, it really will. Because we’ll end up giving a lot!”

Levine’s co-host, Blake Shelton thinks the swear jar is a great idea and he would be game for it as well.  He said; “I like that. I’m agreeing to it. I will sign up!”

‘The Voice’ live shows begin in April, so hopefully the mentors can get all of their dirty mouthed ducks in a row before it becomes difficult to censor.
