As we did with the reveal of some new songs recently, we’re installing a special edition of “American Idol” notes today just to focus on a major announcement coming courtesy of the Adam Lambert camp — an official release date for the long-awaited sophomore album “Trespassing.”
After first announcing that the album would come out in either April or May, Adam and RCA are now confirming that the disc will officially have a May 15 launch date in North America. In a statement, Adam describes the album as “an exciting journey through the past two years of my life. It’s been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I’ve experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality.”
As many longtime Adam fans know already, the disc contains collaborations with the likes of Benny Blanco, Pharrell Williams, Sam Sparro, and many more. His first single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” is already on the radio.
Are you happy that we do now finally have a release date after so many delays? Based on what we’ve heard so far, the final product does seem to be worth it.
