Mrs Carter: Big brothers can always take care of business – but so can big sisters!
Vanessa Minnillo couldn’t be more excited to become a mother with her husband, ‘Sing Off’ host Nick Lachey, and in just a few more months her dreams will become reality and she will join the motherhood clan.
On Wednesday, Vanessa took some time to chat with fans on her Twitter account and answer some of those burning questions we all have about the pregnancy, like do they want a boy or a girl and do they have names picked out yet?
When it comes to the gender of Nick and Vanessa’s first baby, the ‘Wipeout’ host is hoping for a boy, so that they can take care of their younger brothers and sisters, but more than anything they just want a healthy baby. She said; “I’m excited either way! But I always wanted a boy 1st. Just a healthy baby. #ToBeClear @NickSLachey & I are praying for a healthy baby First & Foremost! I just always envisioned a boy 1st to take care of his siblings.”
Minnillo went on to say that she thinks that if they have a baby girl, their daughter will instantly become daddy’s little girl. She wrote; “But a baby girl would be just as much of a blessing… and she’d have @NickSLachey wrapped around her finger! Haha!”
As for baby names, Vanessa revealed that they have chosen a name for the girl, but the jury is still out when it comes to a name for the boy. She said; “We have our pick for the girl, but still working on the boys name.”
Minnillo and Lachey have been together since 2006 when they met on the set of Nick’s music video ‘What’s Left of Me.’ They married in July of 2011 and by November the lovebirds were expecting their first baby.
