Mrs. Carter: The mystery of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ baby can now come to a close.
Yesterday, it was first reported that the “Two and a Half Men” star and his fiancee welcomed a baby girl, but at the time there was not a whole lot revealed when it comes to a name. Luckily, that has changed now!
Kutcher confirmed the baby news in a post on his website, where he said the following (note the specific word choice at the end):
“Mila and I would like to welcome Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher to the world. May your life be filled with wonder, love, laughter, health, happiness, curiosity, and privacy.”
Ashton also humorously shared a series of baby photos, claiming that one of them was of his daughter and told all commenters on his site to try to figure it out. It’s a smart way to increase web traffic, while also giving the semblance of privacy at the first time.
So what do we think about the name? It reminds us a ton of Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson naming their daughter Maxwell Drew, except this time it’s somehow more confusing. You have a name commonly associated with a man (Wyatt) and one with a woman (Isabelle) jammed into one name. Hopefully, this will help to buck some of the trends from those out there who proclaim that Wyatt has to be just a girl’s name, and we are curious to see what some of the reaction will be as more and more learn about it.
