Kim Kardashian addresses Kanye West, Jon Hamm and adoption reports

She's cleared up the rumors

Mrs Carter: Kim Kardashian-West?  Better hold on to your wedding gifts, cause it’s not happening.

There is a constant stream of Kim Kardashian news in the media, but lately the stories that are surfacing seem so far fetched that we barely even know where to begin.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ reality star phoned into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning to weigh in on the adoption rumors, an alleged marriage consideration to rapper Kanye West and her feelings towards Jon Hamm’s controversial comments.

So will there be an adopted baby coming Kim’s way in the near future (feel free to adopt me Kim)?  She said that not only is the rumor ridiculous (there goes my chances of becoming a Kardashian), but that media outlets could have easily called her to verify that it wasn’t true before running the story.  She said;

“No, I don’t even know where that came from, but what’s so crazy is the magazines can easily call and ask and we would say ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ but that’s not true.  I’ve heard so many ridiculous things and to be honest, I used to read all the magazines and watch things. I don’t even look at any of that anymore. I’ve taken my Google alerts off my phone!”

Kim still hasn’t even finalized her divorce from NBA star Kris Humphries, but outlets are already trying to not only hook her up with Kanye West, but also throw the pair down the aisle.  Kardashian said that the rumors are false and that she is not getting ready to marry Kanye and that they’ve “been friends for years.”  She said;

“I think I’m still married.  You know, I’m really not dating right now at all. I’m focusing on work. I know I always say this, but I’m just trying to get through my situation and have fun.”

As for ‘Mad Men’ star Jon Hamm’s comments about Kim, saying; “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a [expletive] idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly”, Kim stuck to the high road when talking about to Seacrest about the situation.  She said;

“I mean, I just feel like, to be honest, it’s all about trying to stay focused and keep everything positive.  It really takes a lot more energy and effort to be harsh than to say something nice and be positive.”

Do you think is making the right choice taking the high road in the feud with Hamm?  Would you like to see Kim and Kanye strike up a romance? Do you think she should adopt a child?  Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
