Mrs Carter: They can finally enjoy their relationship in public.
Ben Flajnik and his fiancée Courtney Robertson have had a fairly difficult time cultivating their relationship since ABC aired Ben’s season of ‘The Bachelor’. The media was relentless when it came to dissecting their romance and chasing Courtney around with pitchforks, but now that ‘The Bachelor’ is over, Ben and Courtney are able to enjoy their relationship in peace as they finally had a chance to tell their side of the story.
During the ‘Bachelor: After The Final Rose’, Ben addressed false cheating rumors telling viewers that there was absolutely no truth to them. Courtney explained her noble reason behind the wedding dress stunt, saying that she wanted to take some of the heat off of Ben’s alleged ‘cheating’ story and give him a bit of a break – and it totally worked.
The tabloid rumors and the way Courtney was depicted on ‘The Bachelor’ drove the couple to split for a month in February, but they have found a way back to one another and the engagement is back on.
Now Ben and Courtney are enjoying their romance out in the open and have made their first public appearance together in San Francisco. Flajnik posted a photo of him and Courtney on his Instagram account along with the message “1st pic out in public.”
An eye witness saw Ben and Courtney out together and told US Weekly that she was wearing her engagement ring and that they looked ‘cozy’. They said; “Saw Ben and Courtney dining with two other guests in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. She was wearing her ring and they looked cozy.”
The tabloids were a major bone of contention for Ben and Courtney and the couple decided not to do a press tour now that ‘The Bachelor’ is over. Instead runner up, Lindzi Cox, who did not attend the ‘After The Final Rose’ taping, will be doing the press tour.
Are you happy that Ben and Courtney found a way to make their relationship work? Do you think they will be able to make it work now that they are out of the public eye? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
