Shay and Severide’s friendship is really the only thing that was
interesting on this show. Chicago Fire has really bad writers and this
move proves that. I think that the writers were planning to get Shay and
Severide together and when they started going in that direction they
got a lot of backlash. After that these terrible writers didn’t know
where to go with Shay’s character. There are no interesting stories with
any of the other characters and Shay’s role was too big for the
writers. The only thing they could do is kill her off. They are banking
on shock value and that just isn’t going to keep the show going. This
will most likely be the last season. You can’t kill off the best
character on the show and expect to keep going. Really stupid move!

What the hell were they thinking killing of Shay. Such a great character and my favorite one. I loved Chicago Fire because of Shay and Severide and because of the friendship between her and Dawson. I don’t think I’ll be watching the rest of the season. Sure I’ll give one or two episodes a go, but I think the loss of Shay will really have ruined it all for me…such a bad move, dumb dumb dumb

ya whatever, u dont kill off the only interesting character in a show unless u want it 2 get cancelled…. thanks alot for that chicagofire, u lost a viewer

You don’t put spoilers in the title of the article and then warn of spoilers after a paragraph or two …SMFH
