Im so upset that shay was the one to leave im really disappointed to be honest she was a key person in this show and why i watched but im gonna try to continue

What a horrible start to the new season. Shay was a huge part of the show and why I enjoyed it. Lauren is a great actress and was part of so many storylines. The show just became more about the boring characters. It honestly left a bad taste in my mouth and Im done watching. Bad move.

I truly wish Laura German well – I really liked her character on the show; I like show and rings true with my youth when I took the fireman’s test in Philadelphia years ago. I “think” killing her off so soon is a mistake…and that’s my emotions talking. In fact, it was much like real life – some get take from us far too soon and with zero notice. Still makes me well up just typing about this. The creator and writers did what they set out to do – move the show forward. Here’s an Idea: Put her here to for previously unknown twin sister on Chicago PD.

I can’t believe they killed off shay. I have watched Chicago fire from day 1 and i never missed an episode. After last night i will not be waiting for it to come on.
I really think the producers or whoever should of asked the fans what they thought about killing off one of the main characters.
Either bring back shay or loss a lot of your followers. Make it a dream.

I hate, hate, hate it. Never have & never will like when a character leaves, dies or is killed in one of my shows. Don’t understand why they kill off the good ones. I can understand, not like, but understand if the actor wants out, otherwise it sucks.

Lauren German is a great actress and I loved her contribution to this ensemble cast. I really didn’t want the cast to change. She will be missed.
