Before we look ahead at Sunday night’s new episode of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” we would be remiss to not mention what went down with Adam Carolla’s team yet again from last week’s episode.
In the Tuesday edition of his podcast, the comedian blamed the loos off his team more on his own communication with the show’s producers rather than the men’s actual performance. First and foremost, he claimed that he was told that Buick was hoping for a presentation in vein to what Steve Jobs did during his days at Apple, which consisted mostly of one person standing in front of a group giving a presentation as a representative of the overall organization. Therefore, the team did this, only to be told later that the Buick people were looking more for a presentation that better utilized the overall group. (This led to Carolla saying that Trump should really “fire” the producer who told them the incorrect information, which was edited out of the broadcast.)
As for the presentation itself, Carolla claims that it went over well — even the comments made by Paul Teutul as a heckler were met with laughter, even though it did not appear to be so when the actual episode aired. It’s fascinating stuff, although those who follow reality TV should be familiar at this point with the idea of editing manipulating a scene in order to justify a story happening in the way that producers want.
As for Sunday night’s new episode, we know that mopping up is going to be a major theme … though it may be mopping up whatever sort of shame these contestant have left after trying to film some sort of viral ad. Lou Ferrigno (who is desperately trying to prove something) along with Tia Carrere will serve as the Project Managers, and you can check out a sneak peek at the overall action below.
Who will win? With both teams completely and totally falling apart, it looks like no one is going to have the producers to blame for events taking a wrong turn.
