‘Pretty Little Liars’ finale preview: Ready for ‘A’ to be unveiled?

The finale airs Monday.

There are fewer sneak peeks available than usual when it comes to Monday night’s season finale for “Pretty Little Liars,” but there is a pretty good reason for that — there is some major stuff happening that the showrunners don’t quite want us to know ahead of time. This episode, entitled “unmAsked,” is the most heavily-guarded secret in the history of the show, mostly because “A” will be unveiled by the end of the hour.

So is “A” only going to be a secret that we as viewers are privy to, or are the Liars going to find out as well? That part of the equation is still unknown, but the two sneak peeks at the bottom of this article certainly make one thing rather clear: Melissa Hastings is at the top of the suspect list. After all, we saw her seemingly get caught in the Mona / Caleb trip last week, and the letter written to the Liars about the masquerade ball references one of her favorite games with Spencer growing  up.

Ultimately, though, we are still under the belief that executive Marlene King and the show’s writers are going to be a bit more clever than just making “A” one of the obvious choices like Melissa or Jenna. Some of the other names discussed as possibilities online include Ezra, one of the parents, Alison’s secret twin (which we’re not sure even exists in this universe), or even Spencer. However, there’s not much evidence to support any of these theories superficially — but we say that, and there are all sorts of hidden clues probably to support any of them as “A” throughout the first two seasons that will be discovered after the fact.

Who do you this is “A” based on what we’ve seen? Be sure to take our poll below, and check back Monday for the grand unveiling of the man or woman behind the mask.
