I think it is top quality TV. It does require attention to follow, and sadly that may be too much for American viewers. A second series would be good news. A very expensive exercise, I suspect.

I LOVED Extant! It was intriguing, engaging and my dad and I always stayed up late to watch it! Halle Berry probably wasn’t the best part for Molly though… It was really interesting and great and I would probably die without a second season! PLEASE make a second season! It was GREAT!

Definitely need to bring the second season. There is so much depth to the show that we don’t see anymore on screen. Let it unfold. Give people time; it’ll catch on.

Such a shame that in the UK the only media available to watch this was through Amazon Prime Instant Video.
Loved it, thoughtful, intelligent, well scripted and well acted. When you compare this to a lot of zombie mind fodder that is shown on TV such as X-factor etc there is no comparison.
I would love a second season to be commissioned and this time made available for more people to access i.e. through a major TV network. So CBS, I hope you have second thoughts about a second series.

lol… most viewer feel differently from these bloggers or so-called “critics” and that is what counts #CBS. It was a very good show, slow to start but did not disappoint as it went on… Season 2 please…it did not END!
