‘Arrow’ season 3 poster: Oliver Queen’s full team has assembled

After much anticipation, The CW finally revealed the latest “Arrow” season 3 poster on Wednesday … but was it really worth the wait?

We’re still somewhat torn about this poster for a few reasons, starting with the fact that it seems a little weird that they would all be walking around on the middle of a street together like this. Personally, we would have preferred a shot of all of them in the Arrow-Cave somewhere, doing work to prepare for a night out fighting crime. Still, it is nice to have a reminder that this is the somewhat-official Team Arrow at this point: Roy Harper, Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen, Laurel Lance, and John Diggle. Laurel is the clear new addition to the group, now that she knows the truth about Oliver’s real secret. Also, we know that Katie Cassidy has been working on getting into shape to kick butt and take names this year (just in case she does end up becoming the Canary).

These five will all be in action during the premiere, though there are questions about whether or not some others will join them in fighting the good fight. After all, you have one person for sure in Thea Queen who has an attachment to Oliver, and maybe she can end up becoming a greater part of what he does around the clock. We know at least that Sara Lance will return for more story; not only that, but the second episode of this season is titled simply “Sara.” We’ll have to see what develops from there.
