‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Speculating over ‘Guilty’
It is not often where we are a couple of days behind an “Arrow” story, but here is one that slipped past us over the weekend: The title for the sixth episode of the season, and a curiously-named episode at that.
According to a post on Twitter from executive producer Marc Guggenheim, the name for this particular episode is “Guilty,” which could have a number of different implications. Maybe this is a reference to Laurel’s career now in the world of law, or some of the emotions that Oliver Queen is feeling about those he has killed over the years.
With all of this being said, we do still feel like there is a pretty obvious interpretation for what this title could be talking about right now … and his picture is attached to this article. We know that there is an episode coming up that is all about Roy, and this would be a great chance to fill that story in a little bit. As for the “guilty” part, just think back to some of what he did while under the influence of the mirakuru last season. He doesn’t remember all of that, and he will have to learn more about the error of his ways as the story develops here.
One thing that we do personally hope to see from Roy is a story that does not contain a new love interest for his. Not everyone needs to have romance in their life all the time, and it seems like almost every other character on Team Arrow (save for maybe Laurel, who is barely in the team anyway) has something like that going on.
For now, here is a rundown of the first six episodes of the season, and the character the story is likely tied to.
- “The Calm” (Oliver)
- “Sara” (should be self-explanatory)
- “Corto Maltese” (Diggle)
- “The Magician” (Malcolm Merlyn / Thea)
- “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak” (need more?)
- “Guilty” (likely Roy)
