As we wrote yesterday, we have some new information coming courtesy of “The Vampire Diaries” and its panel at PaleyFest — and what we have to present to you first and foremost is some valuable information from Thursday night’s all-new episode “1912.”
While we are not going to give anything major away about the episode, the following information is still definitely worth noting:
-If you’ve been driving yourself insane trying to figure out who is responsible for the murders in Mystic Falls, you will know by the end of the episode. We can safely say that even for some of you who predict this correctly, you’re probably still missing out on some of the details.
-Cassidy Freeman is making her debut as Sage (as seen above), and she is going to have a tremendous impact on making Damon into the vampire that he has become in the present. However, the flashbacks start with a rather moody Ian Somerhalder confronting his brother after fifty years.
-While Elena is going to have some brief scenes with Damon and Stefan, most of our her action in the episode is going to be with another guy who has some ties to her romantic past — Matt.
-While much has been made about the flashbacks for Damon, we are also going to be finding out a good bit more about Alaric’s past in this hour. The good news? You will definitely not see all of this coming.
-Sadly for fans of some characters, there will not be an appearance from Bonnie, Caroline, or Klaus in this episode. With this in mind, don’t expect much in the way of an immediate answer as to what happened to Abby Bennett.
-The CW has already released photos showing Freeman in future episodes, so be aware that this is not going to be a one-and-done appearance by the actress.
For those of your craving more “TVD,” we will be having more content from the show’s panel very soon!
